Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use Zolt Fitness, we may collect information you provide, including:

• Quiz answers, profile answers, goals, and preferences
• Fitness, nutrition, habit, or wellness details you choose to enter
• Account information needed to create and manage your account
• Feedback, support requests, and other communications

Scan Photos and AI Inputs

If you turn on AI processing and use an AI-powered feature, we may collect:

• What you type when you ask Zolt to build or adjust a workout
• Your quiz and profile answers, such as goal, available equipment, training days, height, and weight
• Your muscle priority map and a summary of your recent logged sessions
• The scan photo you choose to upload, when you run a scan
• Your Apple Health activity summary, if you have connected Apple Health

None of this is sent anywhere for AI processing unless you have given permission for it. See “AI Providers and Third-Party Partners” below.

Apple Health Information

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Zolt Fitness may access an activity summary or related fitness data that you authorize, such as steps, workouts, active energy, or other health and activity metrics made available through Apple Health. Apple Health access is optional, and you can manage or revoke it in your device settings.

Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Usage analytics
• Crash reports and performance data
• IP address and approximate location derived from network information

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide fitness insights, summaries, and recommendations
• Generate AI-powered analysis and app functionality
• Personalize workouts, goals, and user experience
• Maintain, debug, and improve the app
• Provide customer support
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security issues
• Analyze usage trends and app performance

AI Providers and Third-Party Partners

AI processing is optional and off until you turn it on. Zolt Fitness does not send any of your information to an AI provider unless you have given explicit permission by ticking the AI processing option shown during setup, or by turning it on later under Settings. Continuing through setup, accepting our terms, or reading this policy is not permission on its own. You can withdraw permission at any time in Settings, and nothing further is sent once you do. The app remains fully usable without it — workouts are then assembled on your device instead.

When you have given that permission, Zolt Fitness shares the information listed under “Scan Photos and AI Inputs” above with Google Gemini / Google LLC so the app can generate analysis, insights, recommendations, or summaries.

We may also share information with service providers that support authentication, cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, security, and app operations.

Data shared with Google Gemini is used solely to generate the analysis, insights, recommendations, and summaries you request inside the app, and is returned to your device. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you for any purpose other than producing the result you asked for.

We only share personal information with a third party where that party is contractually required to protect it to a standard equal to or greater than the protections described in this policy, to use it only for the purposes we specify, and not to disclose, sell, or retain it beyond what is necessary to deliver the service. We review these commitments before enabling any partner that receives personal data.

These partners process information according to their own terms, privacy policies, and contractual obligations.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

• Google Gemini / Google LLC for AI-powered app functionality
• Cloud hosting providers
• Analytics and crash reporting providers
• Authentication and account management providers
• Customer support and security providers
• Legal authorities when required by law
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Health and Fitness Data

We use Apple Health and other health or fitness information only to provide app functionality that you request or authorize. We do not sell Apple Health data, and we do not use Apple Health data for advertising.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to:

• Provide our services
• Maintain app functionality
• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes
• Enforce agreements

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Request a copy of your data
• Withdraw consent for optional integrations, including AI processing, which you can turn off at any time in Settings

To exercise these rights, contact us through the support channel provided in the app or app listing.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's Privacy

Zolt Fitness is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app or on our website with a revised effective date.
